Amanda Richardson

As a former patient of the Institute for Reproductive Health and one of the 1.5 million women suffering from infertility in the United States, Amanda brings to Parental Hope her personal experience and firsthand knowledge of the struggle to conceive.  Amanda was blessed to conceive her first daughter via in-vitro fertilization.  For many couples, the journey to parenthood can be long, emotionally exhausting, physically and financially draining, but Amanda would like for those suffering to not lose hope.  Amanda states, “There were many days that I just wanted to give up, after all the shots, emotional stress and mounting bills, but I never gave up hope of becoming a mom.  The journey paid off and I was blessed with my sweet daughter.” After a few more years of unsuccessful attempts at IVF with frozen embryos, Amanda and her husband were pleasantly surprised with their second blessing, another daughter! She is fortunate to have the opportunity to serve on the Board of Parental Hope, offering others the hope and financial means of becoming parents.  Amanda is a lifelong resident of Northern Kentucky and currently lives in Hebron with her husband and two daughters, Addyson and Hadley.
